This wine has a deep purple colour. On the nose black cherry and plums together with a hint of cocoa powder and sweet tobacco. On the palate smooth tannins with dark plums and tobacco on the finish. The subtle tannins of the wine will compliment lean meats and poultry dishes.
Grilled ostrich medallions smothered in garlic herb butter, crispy plum-glazed duck breast, served on a bed of rice/noodles, and dark chocolate truffles .
